Wild and Country Book Tour

Image
The best man,Tucker and the maid of honor, Addison meet at their best friends wedding. Despite being warned by their friends to stay off from each other, they couldn't help that. But this isn't an forbidden/being warned on trope alone. Tucker, Chicago's number one womanizer as they say, don't want to get into any feelings especially love whereas our Addison had her heart broken too many times and currently doesn't want to do anything with men. What started as just an sexual attraction later turned into something more and still we have some catches here.  This book was an emotional roller coaster read for me right from the beginning which made me love the book more and more. What I love the most is the writing, oh my god! it is wow! Now I can't wait to read the author's other books as well.  Also, another thing that piped my interest is the character development, it is well and I would say deep! And the friendship parts, their cute little fights, ...

The Love Hypothesis by Ali Hazelwood

Image
The Love hypothesis is the contemporary adult romance written in third person. Olive Smith, a grad student doing her PhD in Stanford, in order to make her best friend move on in the relationship with their ex, maybe ex-date or the person whom olive was seeing. She made a lie that she is dating someone and to prove that lie she went ahead and kissed the first person she met and that person is none other than the youngest, handsome, most brilliant with genius IQ, academic rockstar and biology's wunderkind Dr Adam Carlsen but he is also mean, hypothetical, notoriously moody, obnoxious, terrifying person. This is what the grads in Stanford say about him.  And Olive kissed this Adam Carlson which was seen by her best friend Anh and as per Olive's plan. (her plan was to make Anh believe that she is dating someone) and in order to maintain that lie she was forced to date Carlsen. Also, Adam on the other hand was facing some issues with the department that they have freezed...

But little did they know that the witch, Xan is a good hearted one and rescues these babies and deliver them to welcoming families on the other side of the forest, nourishing the babies with starlight on the journey.  But one year, Xan accidentally feeds a baby moonlight instead of starlight. As every action has equal consequences, this act of Xan had some consequences and thus the story of the girl who drank the moon begins...  The book takes place in a magically different world - a wood, completely different types of city on both the sides of the wood, a council of people, witch, dragons and bog. Speaking of the bog there comes our swamp monster - how can I miss his poetry lines, his monstrous structure, his love towards Xan, Luna and Fyrian.  Alo...

The different Bride by Charu Singh

Image
The different bride is a simple and unique story of Chandrika and Prakash. This story takes place in the year 2000 where these two people get to know each other from a peculiar, ancient yet interesting way - telephonic phone. Interesting nah! Started as a customer call service support person, they travelled through friendship and along with that there comes the expected one LOVE.  Yeah, upto this, the story may sound quite simple and common but here comes the twist, as I already told theirs is an unique story and in the world where it's not easy to be different, Chandrika, one of the strong female character I have come across, faced all the challenges with holding her Chin up along with the support of her loved ones. Even if it is not a issue at all, not many will put themselves in our shoes and think, not many will understand us and not many will accept us. So obviously this will lead to hurts and breaking hearts.  So what will happen to the love story of Chandrik...

#Scribblings3 If I could turn back time⌛

Image
IF I COULD TURN BACK TIME, you might think that this time I will choose to not break my heart by you, anyone else. But I am not doing that. If I could turn back time, I would again let our first meeting be near that coffee machine just like the last time. Just like the last time, I would again see you drinking your coffee. I would again see you smiling with your friends...God that smile, this time I would see that smile a little longer. I would again ask my best friend about you. I would again find you on social media and stalk you again. I would again wait for the breaks to see you. I would again catch you watching me. I would again watch your friends tease you whenever I'm there. I would again fall for those eyes. I would again fall for you, this time with more intensity and with more love. And just like the last time, I would again let you love me, happily recreate us. I would again happily go through all our moments together, this time with a silver lining. A hope w...

#Scribblings2 Farewell to my home sweet home 🏠

Image
One last time~To my home sweet home, Bye bye - this time for ever! Of course, I may come, visit you again, but still its not guaranteed right?! So yeah, lets wave each other good bye. You have always been our 1st special home, native, technical birth place to us, to me and will always remain the same no matter what. You hold memories of my infancy, toddlerhood, my pre-school days, my first gang of friends, all our summer holidays, festival times, siblings/cousins group up and most importantly our grandpa. I still remember those times when I used to hide in that corner room to escape from crackers and thunder, that one landscape picture using which I would intimidate my brother, those cultural programs that have been conducted right opposite to the house during the thiruvila times, those two darling sofa set thats been a part of this house-ever since I know, that one green special cot for which I used to fight with deepu always, those late night mottamaadi times, that offic...
