Sharp Objects (TV Series) - Show review

Psychological mysterious thriller drama that holds you till the very last moment!

A reporter is asked to write a story on a murder and missing of two school girls in a town which happens to be the reporter's home town from where she ran away because of some bitter past. With her past haunting her, she starts interrogating people for her story and later we find that the missing girl has also been murdered. The show proceeds with a detective from other town who has been appointed to solve this, appears to have eyes on all the town people. On the other hand the chief of Police believes it must be some outsiders. As the show move on we get glimpses about the reporter's past days and about to know her family, especially her mother. Who is the real murder and how and by whom its been revealed, what are those past of the reporter, how it is all connected is the remaining story.

The series is the adaptation from the novel written by Gillian Flynn. I would say the show makers and all the actors had done justice to the book. If you had read the book you can see the actors giving lives to all the characters perfectly. The actors have done their job perfectly. And I'm in love with the dialogues. For those who have read the book won't have thoughts like 'Why haven't they included this dialogue or this scene', they have added the correct ones and made the show a perfect adaptation of a book.

For the non-book-reader-viewers. You would love the show if you have a liking towards physiological mysterious thriller. Otherwise you will find this show a little creepy and intimidating at some places. But, if you thought of giving the show a chance, then I'm sure that the mysterious thriller shade of the show will grip you till the very last scene of the show, I promise.
